About OSCC

If the motto for Swim Ontario is ‘Leading Canadian Swimming at every level’, then the Ontario Swimming Coaches Committee (OSCC) provides the vehicle for making this happen. The OSCC encourages professionalization for all competitive swimming coaches through Swim Ontario membership and participation in the OSCC  and through compliance with the OSCC Code of Conduct and Ethics. The OSCC provides not only leadership but educational support and recognition of professional coaches throughout the province of Ontario.


Working with Swim Ontario we develop standardized programs to ensure an ideal environment in which competitors, officials, organizers and volunteers can participate. Our committee is the means of communication with Swimming/Natation Canada, the Canadian Swimming Coaches & Teachers Association and the other provincial swimming coaches committees/associations in the promotion and development of domestic and international programs. The OSCC also works with the Canadian Interuniversity Sport, Ontario University Athletics, and Masters Swimming Ontario in the promotion and development of competitive swimming.
