Swim Ontario is sad to announce the departure of Ontario Swimming Academy Head Coach Andi Manley at the end of the 2015-2016 season due to family related issues.
Andi has been a wonderful addition to Ontario swimming and integral to the home training environment to the swimmers in the OSA, as well as the Swim Ontario camps and tour team initiatives this season. He will be finishing up his position here with the OSA trip to the ASA Summer National Championships in Sheffield, England August 1-5, 2016
“We would like to thank Andi for his many contributions this season. Swim Ontario, in conjunction with our performance partners, is fully committed to the Ontario Swimming Academy program. We are currently conducting an extensive search for a coach with a proven track record in developing swimmers to the podium at Junior World Championships/Youth Olympics, European Junior Championships or to the Olympic finalist level”, said Darin Muma Interim Executive Director, Swim Ontario. “We hope to have a new OSA Head Coach in place as soon as possible.”
Swim Ontario, Swimming Canada, Own the Podium, MTCS and the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario partnership are looking forward to continuing the Ontario Swimming Academy for the foreseeable future and we will be posting the job description in the next few days.
Thank you to Andi for the excellent job this season and best of luck in his future endeavors.
