Only 135 days left for Swim-a-thon! Time to register!
May 31st is the last date to collect donations
Register your club soon! www.ontarioswimathon.ca/register-club
Remember your fundraising goal statement should highlight what you will use your fundraising dollars for. Your donors want to know!
Optimal time frame for fundraising is 6 weeks prior to your Swim-A-Thon event. That means the goal would be to register 6-7 weeks prior to your event! This allows for provinces to approve and for RaisingSpirits to build your site.
For those of you who could not attend the webinar, SNC would like all members who intend to run a Swim-A-thon to please watch. The links were previously sent. If you misplaced, send us a note, and we will resend. If you are a returning club you only need to watch the first 30 minutes. firstname.lastname@example.org
Clubs can begin registering for 2016 Swim-A-Thon www.ontarioswimathon.ca/register-club
Please note that the Swim Ontario office will be closed for the Christmas holidays from Monday December 21 until Monday January 4th. During this time, Swim-a-thon approvals will not be done and will wait until the new year.
Preparations have begun for the 2016 Swim-a-thon campaign.
There will be an information session at the Swim Ontario conference Saturday September 26, 2015 at the Toronto Airport Marriott. This would be an excellent opportunity for clubs to learn about “How to Run” a successful campaign directly from Raising Spirts as well as an opportunity to ask specific questions. Conference registration is available HERE
Please review the information memo from Swimming Canada. Two Ontario clubs were the top teams in the 2015 campaign. Congratulations to Toronto Swim Club as the top fundraising team raising $45,870.00 and to Crescent Town Swim Club as the top team per registered swimmer raising $16,795 for a total of $381.00 per swimmer.
